강호순, 그는 누구인가?

강호순은 2005년 10월부터 2008년 12월까지 총 10명을 살해한 대한민국의 악명 높은 연쇄살인범입니다. 1969년 10월 10일생으로, 여성을 연쇄적으로 납치해 살인했으며, 자신의 네 번째 부인과 장모의 집에 불을 질러 살해하기도 했습니다.

2009년 1월 25일 경찰에 붙잡힌 강호순은 처음에는 자신의 범행을 부인했지만, 결국 자백했고 2009년 4월 22일 열린 선고 공판에서 사형을 선고받았습니다. 항소심에서도 사형이 확정된 그는 현재까지 사형수로 서울구치소 독방에서 생활하고 있습니다.

사진을 요구한 이유에 대해 신정환은 나중에 알게 됐다고 합니다.

"Just Give Me One Photo"... The Chilling Encounter Between Shin Jung-hwan and Serial Killer Kang Ho-soon

How would you feel if you came face to face with the most notorious serial killer in a dark prison corridor? Entertainer Shin Jung-hwan's recently revealed shocking story has captured public attention. His terrifying encounter with serial killer Kang Ho-soon continues to haunt him as a nightmare even 16 years later.

A Spine-Chilling Prison Encounter

On March 31, in the YouTube channel "Channel Go Jung Hae" content "Non Non Non," Shin Jung-hwan revealed for the first time his shocking experience while imprisoned on gambling charges.

"There's something I haven't forgotten for 16 years. Sometimes I wake up with sleep paralysis or seizures, and it's all because of that episode from when I was in custody"^4

According to Shin, inmates would exercise outdoors for 30 minutes every morning in the detention center. Inmates were distinguished by badge colors: red for death row inmates, yellow for violent criminals, and blue for drug offenders^4.

One day during exercise time, he heard someone calling his name from behind. When he turned around, he saw a person with a red badge. The person asked Shin if he had a photo of himself, offering to draw a picture for him^4.

Unable to contain his curiosity, Shin asked the longest-serving guard at the detention center who the person was, and received an unexpected answer.

"The guard casually said, 'That's Ho-soon,' and I realized it was the serial killer Kang Ho-soon. I got goosebumps from my ankle to the top of my head. After that, I stopped going out for exercise"^4

Who is Kang Ho-soon?

Kang Ho-soon is a notorious South Korean serial killer who murdered a total of 10 people from October 2005 to December 2008^5. Born on October 10, 1969, he serially abducted and murdered women, and also set fire to the house of his fourth wife and mother-in-law, killing them both^6.

Captured by police on January 25, 2009, Kang initially denied his crimes but eventually confessed. He was sentenced to death on April 22, 2009^6. His death sentence was confirmed on appeal, and he is currently living in solitary confinement as a death row inmate at Seoul Detention Center^6.

Shin later found out why Kang had asked for his photo.

"I asked the person who served food, 'Why does he keep asking for my photo?' and they told me that the walls of his room were covered with pencil portraits of celebrities. He probably wanted to add me to his collection"^4

Gambling, Banishment from Broadcasting, and YouTube Comeback

Shin Jung-hwan has a history of being ousted from the broadcasting industry due to gambling issues. In 2005, he was summarily indicted for visiting illegal gambling establishments, followed by an overseas gambling scandal in 2010^2. At that time, he incurred public outrage for falsely claiming he had "dengue fever," and in 2009, he was sentenced to 8 months in prison before being released on parole^2.

Recently, he has been active on the YouTube channel "Channel Go Jung Hae" alongside Kang Byung-kyu, openly sharing his past experiences. Shin revealed that he "first started gambling at the age of 27" and explained how he got into gambling after "receiving a promissory note for 50 million won at once when the company delayed settlement"^1.

He confessed, "The most unfortunate person among first-time gamblers is the one who wins money" and "I got a taste for it after winning, and without knowing anything, I won over 20 million won with just 2 million won at the time"^1. Shin ultimately estimated that he lost "over 10 billion won" through gambling^1.

Similarly, Kang Byung-kyu, who was also expelled from broadcasting due to gambling charges, is actively participating in the YouTube channel. Recently, he caused a stir by exposing the gambling behavior of a top star actor he met in Macau^3.
